Our ICON for Laser Hair Removal is a long-term solution for all skin types in areas such as face, underarms, bikini, back, beard and legs. The FDA approved device targets the melanin in the hair follicle so is not suitable for light blondes and grey hairs. Our treatments are custom made for each client and it is based on the thickness of the hair, color of hair and skin. Treatments are performed every 4-6 weeks, depending on the body location, over a series of 6 sessions. We then recommend yearly maintenance. All hair must be shaved in the desired treatment area the night before. The treatment will feel like the snap of elastic band and some heat. Our cooling tip is utilized during treatment to help manage discomfort. After treatment the skin will be red and a little bumpy, which is normal and will subside quickly. During the following 2 weeks, the hairs loosen and fall out. You will then see remarkable improvement over the next 4 weeks as minimal growth occurs.
