At Kelowna Medical Aesthetics we offer a Non-Ablative Fractional Resurfacing Treatment using our 1540 XD & XF Handpieces from our Brand New Cynosure Icon Machine. This machine helps clients target their areas of concerns such as acne scarring, wrinkles, fine lines, and skin texture.
What does 1540 do?
Fractional laser skin resurfacing is a skin rejuvenation treatment that effectively penetrates the deeper layers of the skin to instigate new cell growth, promote collagen cells to generate and improve the inner support structure of your skin.

The Cynosure 1540 laser targets water within the skin and not pigment, so it is safe to use on all skin tones. Treatment areas include the face, chest, hands, or anywhere on the body scars or stretch marks present.

What To Expect with 1540
1540 Skin Resurfacing Treatment takes about an hour to be complete. We will first cleanse your skin, take photos and then numb you with Medical Grade Numbing Cream. While the numbing cream sits we will add the LED Light Complimentary to help penetrate deeper. With the 1540 XF you will be red for 5-7 days and feel dry for 2 weeks. The 1540 XD you will be red for 3-5 days and feel dry for 2 weeks.
